Look at before and after photos of people who’ve tried the paleo diet and you will be amazed! Overweight people drop several sizes, weak and flabby people look more fit and toned, and older people even look years younger. These astounding transformations supposedly were the result of a few simple changes in diet.

If we’re really being truthful, those before and after pictures are only that, pictures. How can you really know what changes happened to someone just by pictures? When all is said and done, just looking at before and after photographs does not give you much of a clue about the results these paleo dieters have achieved.

This is one of the biggest reason people see great paleo diet weight loss results when on the paleo diet.  It is one of the few diets around that makes certain your body gets enough protein.

Protein is just one of the reasons for the paleo diet’s success. Another big reason is that you will remove processed foods from your daily consumption. Any food that doesn’t come straight from the earth are not only bad for your health, but these processed foods can actually build up in your body over time and cause a myriad of diseases.
